With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Maxine Nobles of Kinston, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 17, 2024 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She is survived by: her husband Jarvis Adam Nobles; her siblings, Adolph Taylor of Pennsylvania, Jasper Jones of Goldsboro, NC, Benjamin Sutton of Kinston, NC, Lynwood Sutton of Maryland and Carol Surtain of Goldsboro, NC; her uncle Bishop William Earl Jones; and her aunt Mother Laura Cotton. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, in-laws, and friends.
