She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Floyd Taylor, Jr.; her parents, Harold Avery and Hazel Lanier Avery; and her siblings, Marilyn Owens, Billy Avery and Edward Avery.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Harold Taylor (Sonja) of Richmond, VA and Thomas Michael Taylor of Chapel Hill, NC; and her grandchildren, Robert Colton Taylor, Logan Elizabeth Taylor, Brian Thomas Taylor and Elaine Dorothea Taylor. She is also survived by family members and friends.
