She is survived by: her husband Jerry Sparrow of Kinston; her sisters, Diane Sanderson of Kinston and Helen Spain of Virginia; her close friends, Joanne Basden and MaryLou Manning; and her caregiver Angela Butler.
A graveside service was held on Wednesday, April 23rd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Westview Cemetery (2679 Hillcrest Rd, Kinston, NC 28504).
