We are sad to announce that on January 27, 2025, at the age of 95, Mary Allene Efird (Kinston, North Carolina), born in Wilmington, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Mary Allene's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary Allene has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John A. Efird and Mary Ruth Parker Efird; her stepmother Majorie M. Efird; and her stepsister Peggy M. Griffin. She is survived by: her sister Ruth E. Miller; her brother-in-law Dr. Meredith H. Miller of Casper; and her stepsister Marjorie Parker of Matthews, NC.. She is also survived by several nieces and a nephew along with many cousins.
