She was predeceased by: her husband James "Jimmy" Cogdell, Jr.; and her daughter Paula Cogdell Melvin. She is survived by: her children, Paula Glenn, Welfare Case Work, Welfare Case Worker, Marilyn Jimmette Graham (George), Renee Foley (Chris) and Dorita Knox (Johnny); her granddaughters, Marilynn Donnett Keys (Ed) and Alicia Donntrice Hasan (Majid); her sister-in-law Jeanette Cogdell of Melve Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Trey, Caleb Hasan, Evan, Paula and Alyssa Keys. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
