He was predeceased by: his mother Sallie Lou Smith Hill. He is survived by: his wife Christi Gates Hill; his pet Decker; his father Kermit Hill, Sr. of Kinston; his brothers, Craig Carlyle (Denise) of La Grange and Randy Carlyle (Tonya) of Kinston; and his close friend John Tanner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
