She was predeceased by: her husband Paul Stanley Jenkins; her son Paul T. Jenkins; and her parents, Walter Philyaw and Rena Philyaw. She is survived by: her children, Gwen "Scooter" Metts (Dennis) of Wyse Fork, Betty Ipock of Kinston, Walter S. Jenkins of Kinston and Donald C. Jenkins of Dover; and her grandchildren, Tonya Rouse (Brandon, Chris Jenkins), Tommy Jenkins and Reggie Alphin (Jen, Donna Dail).
