She was predeceased by: her parents, Elijah Conner and Lina Page Bell Conner; her siblings, Louise Jones, Alston Connor, Christopher Connor and Eva Langley; her daughter-in-law Christiana Broadway; and her grandson Charles Robert Broadway.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Albert Broadway, III of Kinston, Donald Lynn Broadway of Kinston and Jesse Alston Broadway; her grandchildren, Christi Broadway, Charlene Broadway, Charles Broadway, IV, Chad Broadway and LaDonna Dilday (Tim); and her great grandchildren, Hallie Dilday, Kennedy Santes and Tevis Dilday. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, who loved her like a mother.
