He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Pinkney Byrd, Sr. and Angela Maroules Byrd. He is survived by: his wife Linda Schultz Byrd; his children, Jenny Byrd Thomas (Michael, Molly Gail) and Jack Henry Byrd; his grandchildren, Norah Blake Thomas and Charles "Charlie" Nash Thomas; his sister Brenda Byrd Grady (Les); his nephew Quinton Adam Grady; his close friend Randy Hignite; and his pets, Rocco, Dixie and Slim.
