He is survived by: his brother Bill Aldridge of Kinston, NC; his daughters, Lorra Aldridge-Baylis of Englewood and Jan Milani of Chapel Hill, NC; his grandson Chezzie Milani of Chapel Hill; and his wife Betty Bradley Aldridge.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SECU Jim and Betsy Bryan Hospice Home of UNC.
