With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of John Alvin Grady of Kinston, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 18, 2024 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbert H. Grady (Elsie Irene Hawkins Grady) and Pamela Sue Grady. He is survived by: his wife Sue D. Grady; his children, Jennifer Tyndall (Daren), John A. Grady, Jr. (Kristy) and Jo Anne Grady; his sisters, Judy Swiger (Robert), Marsha Stroud (David) and Kathy Fordham (Tim); and his grandchildren, Brooke, Paul, Alex, Joseph, John III, Meredith, Chari, Hayden and Cohner (Johnathan Howard).
