With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Daughety (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on August 14, 2019. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Theodore Bright and Tessie Sanderson Daughety. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Whaley Daughety; his children, Amy Daughety Taylor (Ryan) and Ronald Eric Daughety (Heather Philyaw); his grandchildren, Vanessa Nichole Cash, Avery Claire Taylor, Katelynn Rhea Daughety, Briley Ryan Taylor, Dillon Reid Daughety, Coleman Rivers Taylor, Michaela Raye Philyaw and Lyndsey Marie Philyaw; his siblings, Ann Daughety Taylor (Elwood) and Tommy Daughety (Ann); and his mother-in-law Dorothy "Dot" Whaley. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
