He was predeceased by: his parents, James Daniel and Ethel Koonce West; his former wives, Ada Conway West and Betty Lou Grant West; his wife Annie Mae Moore West; and his siblings, Helen West Little, Nelson Lee West, Jake Koonce West, Linda West Brown, Wanda Faye West and Joyce Ann West.
He is survived by: his children, Rose West Harrison (Wade), Elizabeth West Davis (Robert), Phyllis West and Martin Varnell (Page); his grandchildren, Misty Delk Hall (Tommy), Waylon Harrison (Amanda), Nicole Harrison (Frank), Taylor Varnell (Kayla), Cole Davis, Emily Varnell Martin (Nick), Trevor Davis, Jackson Varnell, Olivia Varnell and Jared Jones; his brother Ricky West (Marie); and his close friend Jackie Hill. He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren.
