With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Iris White (Kinston, North Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Iris left this world on April 19, 2025 at the age of 78, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her mother Eleanor C. Brown; her daughter Ellie Q. Kennedy; her granddaughter Lindsey Whitley; and her brothers, Alvin Ray Brown, Orville "Buddy" Brown and Irvin Brown.
She is survived by: her sister Marie Everette; her children, Robert Quinn, Jr. (Terecia) and Teresa Heath (Stacy); her grandchildren, Amber Weston (Derrick), Bryce Kennedy (Jena), Bryant Kennedy, April Quinn, Scotty Johnson, Hannah Heath and Karmen Heath; and her son-in-law Barney Kennedy. She is also survived by many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
Since Faye was able to enjoy flowers before her passing, the family asks that in lieu of flowers donations be made to Calvery Baptist Church, PO Box 1822, Kinston, NC 28503.
