He is survived by: his daughter Kimeeka Koonce of Kinston; his stepson Jemony Poole of Kinston; his siblings, Lee Koonce, Jr., Joseph Koonce of Kinston, Frederick Ingram of Columbus, Mercedes Bell of Winterville, NC, Jaleria Lawson, Joselyn Koonce, Lorraine Hobbs of Kinston and Charlene Koonce White of Washington, DC; and his aunt Elizabeth Speight of Kinston. He is also survived by great grands, nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
