He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Morton and Estelle King Morton; and his former wife Betty Ruth Phillips. He is survived by: his son John Andrew Morton (Nora); and his grandchildren, Martha (Leno Abraham) of West Virginia, Mary Anna Morton of Goldsboro, NC and Matthew Andrew Morton (Ellen) of Wisconsin.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parrish Funeral Home (1351 S Pollock St, Selma, NC 27576). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Faison Cemetery.
