With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Geraldine Riggs of Kinston, North Carolina, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie Lee Riggs; her parents, John Roy Marshburn and Lona Marshburn; and her siblings, John Quincy Marshburn, Evelyn Patricia Jones and Alice Faye Marshburn.
She is survived by: her sons, Johnny Lee Riggs (Joan Brown Wheeler) of Snow Hill, Charles Allan (Linda Riggs) of LaGrange and Lynwood Ray Riggs (Ruth Harrison) of LaGrange; her grandsons, Jack Lee (Jessica Riggs) of Kinston and Nickolas Ray Riggs of Hendersonville; and her siblings, Kenneth Marshburn of Snow Hill, Brenda Waller (David Hill) of Kinston and Betty Buehler of Botkins, Ohio. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
