He was predeceased by: his parents, Oren A. Bruton and Flora Ervin Bruton; and his brothers, Henry Bruton and Douglas Bruton. He is survived by: his wife Alice Fay Spell; and his sons, Brett Bruton (Teresa) of Archers Lodge, NC and Lance Bruton (Kim) of Wilmington, NC..
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 PM at the Faith Fellowship Church (2278 Pauls Path Rd, Kinston, NC 28504). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
