He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Famularo and Lillian Famularo. He is survived by: his wife Carla Willis Famularo; his son Franco Famularo (Jordan) of Redwood City, California; and his siblings, Pat Spear of Pennsylvania, Lisa McCarthy of Pennsylvania, Valentina Sitko of Pennsylvania and John Famularo of Florida.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the UNC Division of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Checks may be made payable to UNC Health Foundation, please include Frank's name on the memo line.
