He was predeceased by: his parents, Anna Hicks Bland Rouse and E. Willard Rouse, Sr.; and his sisters, Joan Yvonne Rouse and Sandra Bland Rouse. He is survived by: his wife Lydia Jenkins Rouse; his sons, Willard Joel "Jody" Rouse (Mollie Sheppard Rouse) and Charles Jason Rouse (Jessica Winders Rouse); his grandchildren, Eliza Kate Rouse, Madelyn Stokes Rouse, Charleigh Grace Rouse and Carter Brooke Rouse; and his sister Ann Rouse Price.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
