She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruth Edwards and Clarence Gooding. She is survived by: her son Michael L. Tice; her adoptive daughter Lazariah Moore; and her siblings, Wilbur Brown of Boston, MA, Gwendolyn Hemby of LaGrange, NC and Conslynnetta Hollis of Brockton, MA. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews' other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Trinity Funeral Service Memorial Chapel (1276 US-258, Kinston, NC 28504). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Pinelawn Memorial Park (4488 US-70, Kinston, NC 28504).
