She was predeceased by: her husband Ernest Langston, Sr.; her parents, Joel French and Sarah French; her siblings, Carl of Ed, Gary, Ronald French and Ann French Boyette; and her grandchildren, Evan Lee and Ean Lenn Langston.
She is survived by: her children, Earl (Donna Hill) of Kinston, Wesley (Jessica Hill) of Kinston, Teresa Hill Moody of Kinston, Curtis (Sylvia Hill) of Deep Run and Ernest Jr. (Kim Langston) of New Bern; her daughter-in-law Shannon (Jeremy Houghton) of Grifton; her sister Barbara (Laszlo Varga) of Connecticut; her close friends, Sara, Richard Bostic, Faye Boyette and Amanda Dawson; and her sister-in-law Louella Rouse of Ernul. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
