It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Earl Moody Sr. (Kinston, North Carolina), who passed away on February 15, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Moody and Verdie Tyndall Moody; and his brother Harry Moody. He is survived by: his wife Donna Rouse Moody; his sons, Eddie Moody (Lynne) and Doug Moody (Heather); his grandchildren, Mackenzie Moody Smith (Caleb), Mitchell Moody (Bethany) and Parker Moody (Breanna); his great grandchildren, Jameson Smith and Harrison Moody; his brother Ralph Moody; his sister-in-law Margaret Moody; and his nieces, Marilyn Phipps and Kristy Moody (Josh).
Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Edwards Funeral Home & Cremations (702 N Queen St, Kinston, NC 28501). A memorial service will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Sunday, February 23rd 2025 at the Westview Cemetery (917 Cleveland Dr, Kinston, NC 28504).
