He was predeceased by: his parents, James Henry Thomas and Barbara Ann Yearwood Thomas; and his brother James Marshall "Buckwheat" Thomas. He is survived by: his girlfriend Debra Moody; his son Christopher Thomas (Barbara) of New Bern; his stepdaughter Lindsey Keyes; and his sisters, Debbie Eubanks of Maple Hill and Jenny Cook (Jim) of Pollocksville.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 28th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Garner Funeral Home (209 W Peyton Ave, Kinston, NC 28501). A graveside service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Trenton City Cemetery.
