He was predeceased by: his parents, Dallas McPherson and Anne McPherson Lee; his siblings, Helen Pope (Crowell) and Dallas McPherson (Patsy); and his brother-in-law Alex Hall.
He is survived by: his sons, Douglas McPherson Jr. of Tarboro, NC, David McPherson (Rachel) of Wernersville, PA and Jonathan McPherson (Rachel) of Clarksville, TN; his grandchildren, Hasani, Jordan, Jamison, Lilyahna, Leah, Lola, Colin and Chloe; and his sisters, Lucy Girard (Jerry) and Ginny Hall.
