She was predeceased by: her parents, Blaney Stroud and Estelle Haynes Stroud; her grandson Colby Smith Tucker; and her siblings, Furney Stroud, Harold Stroud, Ira Stroud (Babe), Walter Stroud and Elizabeth Ann Taylor.
She is survived by: her husband Richard Allen Tucker, Sr.; her sons, Richard "Ricky" Allen Tucker, Jr. (Jan) of Kinston and Michael Joe Tucker (Elizabeth) of Greenville; her granddaughters, Mary-Ashlyn Tucker of Greensboro and Arya Scout Tucker of Greenville; and her siblings, Estelle Formica of Yorktown Heights, NY and James Stroud of Farmville. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
