He was predeceased by: his sisters, Dale Smith, Elaine Byrd and JoAnn Ipock; and his parents, Annie Lee Smith and Glennie Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret Smith; his children, Kevin Smith of Deep Run and Amber Smith Willingham of Katy; his grandchildren, Cole Willingham and Casey Ray Willingham; and his sister Emma Jane Smith of Deep Run. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
