It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cheryl Brown Smith of Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Roger Keith Smith; her parents, Clyde Allen Brown and Hazel Ruth Brown; her daughter Anita Roxanne Smith; and her sister Denise Dale Brown.
She is survived by: her husband Mac Weston; her sons, Roger Darryl Smith (Terry Lisa) of Goldsboro and Bradley Allen Smith (Tiffany Ann) of LaGrange; her brothers, Charles Brown (Paula) of Beulaville and Kevin Brown (Annabelle) of Rose Hill; and her grandchildren, Dereck Brandon Smith (Amber), Amy Smith (Blake), Nikki Kornegay (Brad), Brittany Boykin (Thomas), Zachary Smith (Ashley) and Elaina Smith (Colby). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
