He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Russell and Martha Russell; his brother Larry Russell; his brother-in-law Dick Parker; and his parents-in-law, Heber and Marie Vandiford.
He is survived by: his wife Lorraine Vandiford Russell; and his sister Molly Russell Parker. He is also survived by 4 nephews, 2 nieces, 10 great-nephews, and 3 great-nieces.
