It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Sutton Jones of Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on November 16, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Parrott Sutton and Martha Jane Sutton; and her brothers, Bill Sutton and W. D. "Shorty" Sutton. She is survived by: her children, Anna Jones Jarman (Johnny), Scot Jones (Beth) and Leigh Jones (Deanna Noble); her grandchildren, John-Teal Jarman (Reagan), Lauren Ashton Jones (Austin), Coltan Jones and Mason Jones; her great grandchildren, Stetson Melvin, Hudson Melvin and Presley Melvin; her brother Hubert Parrott Sutton (Mary); her sister-in-law Kylette Sutton; the father of her children Rodney Jones (Molly); and her caregiver Mary Artis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 22nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Westview Cemetery (2679 Hillcrest Rd, Kinston, NC 28504).
