It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy George Davis of Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Billy is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Billy's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie G. Davis and Janie M. Moody Davis. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Davis; his children, Billy D. Davis (Rose H. Davis) and Gail Davis Avery (Paul Avery); his grandchildren, Jessica Wilson (Kacey Wilson) and Wade Davis (Megan Davis); his great grandchild Brynlee G. Wilson; and his sister Alice Davis Spain. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchild.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Deep Run First Baptist Church (3624 Old Hwy 11, Deep Run, NC 28525).
