It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy George Davis of Kinston, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie G. Davis and Janie M. Moody Davis. He is survived by: his wife Mary E. Davis; his children, Billy D. Davis (Rose H. Davis) and Gail Davis Avery (Paul Avery); his grandchildren, Jessica Wilson (Kacey Wilson) and Wade Davis (Megan Davis); his great grandchild Brynlee G. Wilson; and his sister Alice Davis Spain. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great grandchild.
