She is survived by: her husband Hoyett Almond; her children, Sue Norcross Proctor of Kinston and Edwin Norcross III of Kinston; her grandson David Lawson (Jennifer) of Raleigh; and her great grandchildren, Linden Lawson and Marley Lawson. She is also survived by family members and friends.
