He is survived by: his wife Anna Phillips Lassiter; his children, Douglas Clarence Lassiter of Kinston, Alison Marie Lassiter Strommer of Trenton and Melanie Lauren Lassiter Singh (Sanchit) of New Bern; his siblings, Mae Braxton of Florida, Diane Luna of Texas, Pearlene Bennett of Virginia and Gary Lassiter of Kinston; his sisters-in-law, Linda Griffin (John) of New Bern and Susan Pickard (Victor) of Hillsborough; his grandchildren, Hannah Elizabeth Lassiter of Wilmington, Samuel Douglas Lassiter of Greenville, Gabriel Edward Lassiter of Kinston, Aiden Phillip Strommer of Trenton, Mia Lauren Singh and Liam Chandler Singh of New Bern; and his aunt Louella Rouse of New Bern. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, and nephews.
