Alice Faye Whitfield Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 5, 2024, at the age of 76, Alice Faye Whitfield of Kinston, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ander Frank and Classie May Whitfield; her brothers, Louvell Whitfield, Donovan Whitfield, Dr. Michael Whitfield and Christopher Whitfield; and her brother-in-law Abron Joyner.

She is survived by: her daughter Yolanda (Curtis); her grandchildren, Joreal, Alice, William and Miracle; her great grandchildren, William III and Amaris; her siblings, Velma Hicks (Clarence), Mildred Joyner, Dennis Whitfield, Ricky Whitfield (Jackie), Jimmy Whitfield, Anthony Whitfield and Darrett Whitfield (Verdette); and her sisters-in-law, Doris Whitfield and Paulette Alston. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, friends.

Alice's creativity and skill were also evident in her contribution to her brother, Michael's upholstery business.
