He was predeceased by: his parents, Vinnie Pheagin and William Lawrence Roark, Sr.; and his wife Betty Upchurch Roark. He is survived by: his children, Holly York (Travis) of Cherryville, NC and Tripp Roark (Melissa) of Kings Mountain, NC.; his sister Anita Ross (Jake) of Blacksburg, SC.; his grandchildren, Landon York, Luke York, Lane York, Liam York, Riley Roark, Emery Roark and Caroline Roark; and his mother-in-law Doris Upchurch. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 17th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Ollie Harris Memorial Chapel (108 S Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
