He was predeceased by: his parents, Hal Hendrick and Dorothy Eaker Hendrick; his father-in-law Joe Costner; and his brother-in-law Rev. Danny Benfield. He is survived by: his wife Rita Costner Hendrick; his daughters, Christy, Jed Edwards of Palm Bay, FL, Jenny and Joey Tysinger of Fallston; his grandsons, Elijah Edwards, Isaiah Edwards, Jeremiah Edwards, Alex Tysinger and Jacob Tysinger; his brother Phillip; his sister-in-law Dorothy Hendrick of Carolina Beach; his sister Ellen Benfield of Raleigh; his mother-in-law Peggy Costner of Fallston; and his brother-in-law Joe (Jean Costner) of Fallston. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
