It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Susan Dixon of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina, who passed away on October 6, 2024, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Evans and Tula Belle Harmon Wilson; and her siblings, Gene Wilson, Tommy Wilson and Helen Wilson Clark.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Howard Dixon Sr.; her children, Karen Dixon Rhyne, Robert Howard Dixon Jr. and Marisa Dixon Rice (Kent); her sister Ann Wilson Tria; her grandchildren, Matt Rice, Haley Rice, Josh Dixon, Kaycee Dixon, Janna Dixon, SSgt Collin Cobb and Kaylin Cobb; her great grandchildren, Wyatt and Amira; and her friend Ginger Martin Biuk.
A graveside service was held on Thursday, October 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Mountain Rest Cemetery (111 S Dilling St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
