He was predeceased by: his mother Emelyn Davis Harmon Gaines. He is survived by: his father Robert Earl Harmon; his caregiver Debbie Towery; his wife Judy Hollifield Harmon; his daughter Holly Harmon Melton (Brad) of Kings Mountain; his grandchildren, John Harmon Melton (Summer) of Kings Mountain, Charlie Melton (Avery Philbeck) of Kings Mountain and Sarah Beth Melton of Kings Mountain; and his great grandchild Eden Victoria Melton.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:50 PM at the First Baptist Church of Kings Mountain (605 W King St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 29th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
