She was predeceased by: her parents, Sherdian Hines and Maud Kinsey Hines; and her husband John Rhoades. She is survived by: her daughter Lang Heng Poeng (Sunny); her grandchildren, Daniel Poeng (Joy), Andrew Poeng (Caroline) and Brittany Poeng; and her great grandchildren, Callie, Riley, Milo, Karis and Genevieve. She is also survived by Many loving nieces, nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (605 W King St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
