She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy William and Glennie Plemmons Rayfield; and her husbands, Rev. Johnny Costner and Carris Grigg. She is survived by: her siblings, Irene Jenkins, Earl Rayfield, Charles Rayfield and Roy Rayfield Jr.; her children, Tammy Greene (Scott) and William "Bill" Costner (Lisa); her siblings, Ruby Bowman (Darrell Larhmar) and Harold Rayfield (Jeanette); her grandchildren, Jonathon Greene (Jamie), Erica Calaway (Joe) and Brandon Costner; her great grandchildren, Ensley, Nataley Greene, Elliot and Aiden Calaway; her stepdaughter Doris West (David); her stepgrandchildren, Brandy Bumgardner (Louie), Bryan West (Allyson) and Brett West (Margarita); and her caregivers, Alba Hedrick and Natasha Greene. She is also survived by 10 great grandchildren; friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the West Chapel of Greene Funeral Service (216 Archie Whitesides Rd, Gastonia, NC 28052). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
