He was predeceased by: his parents, Selvie John and Sarah Brunes Gaut Holt; his wife Virginia Helen Holt; and his sisters, Carolyn Dale Holt, Cynthia Ellen West and Sarah Lee Naramore.
He is survived by: his sons, Rick Holt (Anna) of Costa Mesa, CA and Keith Holt of Gastonia, NC; his grandchildren, Alan Holt (Betsy) of Beaver Dam, VA and Laura Yale (Justin) of Bothell, WA; and his brother Adron "Buddy" Holt.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Kings Mountain Baptist Church (101 W Mountain St, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
