We are sad to announce that on November 14, 2022, at the age of 83, Phyllis Sweezy of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, born in Cleveland, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Ralph Harrelson and Annie Mae McSwain Harrelson; and her brothers, Joe Harrelson and Ned Harrelson. She is survived by: her husband James Sweezy; her children, David Sweezy (Karen) and Dianna Bridges (Wayne); her sister Janice Brackett; her grandchildren, Jason Bridges (Lauren), Matt Bridges (Ramey), Brandon Bridges (Casey), Josh Sweezy (Brandi), Jordan Sweezy and Melissa Sweezy; and her great grandchildren, Kinsley, Keegan, Hayden, Peyton, Lottie, Tad and Bexley Bridges.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in her memory to Beulah United Method Church or Hospice Cleveland County: 951 Wendover Heights Drive Shelby, NC 28150.
