He was predeceased by: his siblings, Douglas McClain, Edward McClain, Mattie Wade, Rebecca Roberts and Betty Strickland.
He is survived by: his children, Brandon McClain (Kayla) of Charlotte, NC, Josh McClain (Ixtel) of Columbus and Tarrow Ervin (Rodney) of Kings Mountain, NC.; his grandchildren, Myesha, Kendrick, Aryanna, Dariyon, Sway and McKenzie; his siblings, James H McClain, Alfred Ash (Connie) of Kings Mountain, NC and Nancy Forman of Charlotte, NC; his sister-in-law Helen McClain of Kings Mountain, NC.; and his aunt Mattie Houser. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
