Mable Shepherd Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mable Shepherd of Kings Mountain, North Carolina, who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max Devine and Grace Padgett Devine; and her siblings, Phillip Devine, Martha Devine and Muriel Grigg.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Shepherd (Kristy) of Spartanburg, SC, Scott Shepherd of Spartanburg, SC and Shelia Hall (JR) of Shelby; her sisters, Peggy Howell of Shelby, Dorothy Tesseneer (Kenneth) of Rock Hill, SC, Vickie Jackson of Shelby, Vallery McCoy (Tommy) of Shelby and Pamela Devine of Shelby; her grandchildren, Ricky Hall, Brad Hall and Mary Austin; and her great grandchildren, Brendon, Kayli, Will, Eli, Molly and Lily. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bethel Baptist Church (606 S Dekalb St, Shelby, NC 28150). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Life Enrichment Center of Shelby.
