The passing of Larry Dean Hamrick Sr. of Kings Mountain, North Carolina leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on January 16, 2025 at the age of 93. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harold Hamrick and Sarah Houser Hamrick; his wife Evelyn Spencer Hamrick; and his siblings, Jimmy Roger Hamrick, Harold Joe Hamrick and Sara Elizabeth Hamrick Blanton.
He is survived by: his sons, Larry Dean Hamrick, Jr. (Florrie Best Pulley) and Patrick Spencer Hamrick (Fiona Jane Hamilton) of Lakeland, FL.; his grandchildren, Lindsay Elizabeth Hamrick Smith (Brian Lee Smith) of Durham, NC, Molly Midyette Hamrick of Durham, NC, Patrick Dunn Hamrick of Charlotte, NC, Kirsty Susan Hamilton of Glasgow, Scotland and Alasdair Matthew Hamilton of Glasgow, Scotland.; his great grandchild Addison Haley Ollendick-Smith of Boone, NC.; and his friend Mary Adams. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Matthew's Lutheran Church (201 N Piedmont Ave, Kings Mountain, NC 28086).
