He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bridges and Morie Penson Bridges; his daughter Michelle Bridges Melton; and his brother Jack Bridges. He is survived by: his wife Aloma Harrison Bridges; his son Chris Bridges (Aleesha Morris) of Shelby; his sister Susie Pierce (Robert) of Gaffney; his grandchildren, Kelly Melton, Dylan Bridges, Justin Morris, Stephen Morris and Makinley Johnson; his great grandchildren, Aliyah Graham, Brett Graham, Caiden Graham and Kinsley Lawrence; and his great great grandchild Lily Smith.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home (1401 W Dixon Blvd, Shelby, NC 28152). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
