He was predeceased by: his parents, Graham Hood and Mary Lee Sparrow White; his brothers, Jackie Dean White and James White (Jim); and his brother-in-law Jack Borders.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Gordon White; his daughters, Leigh Anne Reynolds, Tammy Soots of Lenoir, NC and Patty Sprouse of Kings Mountain, NC; his sister Hilda Borders of Kings Mountain; and his siblings-in-law, Nancy White, Wanda White and Rodney Gordon (Vickie). He is also survived by six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorials in Jerry's name be made to the Building Fund of Harvest Baptist Church, 144 Ware Road, Kings Mountain, NC 28086.
