He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Bridges and Ethel Bridges; and his siblings, Juanita Swindell (Bill) and Bob Bridges. He is survived by: his children, Edie Wright (Chris) and Aaron Bridges (Anna); his grandchildren, Cecily Wright, Pearl Wright and Lilly Hix; and his sister-in-law Brenda Bridges.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Midview Baptist Church (703 Margrace Rd, Kings Mountain, NC 28086). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Eddie's memory to an education-related charity, Champion Christian Academy, 703 Margrace Rd., Kings Mountain, NC, 28086, honoring his lifelong commitment to teaching and faith.
