He was predeceased by: his parents, Buron Blanton and Sarah Dover Blanton; his siblings, Robert "Rabbit" Blanton and Diane Hayes; and his nephew Roger D. Hayes, II.
He is survived by: his uncle Cozzie; his daughter Rita Blanton Cunningham of Fulton, MS.; his granddaughter Megan Robbins (John) of Fulton, MS; his great grandchild Jack Robbins of Fulton, MS; his sister Vickie Blanton of Clover, SC; his nieces, Amy Patterson, Dawn Lovelace and Pamela Gerdon; his great-nieces and great-nephews, Robert Patterson, Dason Blanton, John T. Brooks, Angel Patterson, Victoria Brooks and Madison Gerdon; and also, Luiza Patterson, RJ Patterson and Liam Patterson.
