He is survived by: his wife Betty Walker Dotson; his children, Dale Dotson (Stephanie) of Mooresboro, Loraine Edwards of Shelby and Denise Weber of Shelby; his grandchildren, Justin Scism, Jesse Scism, Ryan Edwards, Jenny, Brittany Edwards, Rich, Bailey Voges, Nick, Sydney O'Neill, Brenden, Sage Dotson, Gabby, Leul Dotson and Allie Cook; and his great grandchildren, Andrew Scism, Henry O'Neill and Gwendolyn Edwards.
